ONLINE BOOKINGS
All online appointments are required to be pre-payed in advance, you will be charged 100% of the service cost of the booking up front and this money will be added to your account in our salon software.
ONLINE LASER BOOKINGS
All laser appointments require a full consultation and test patch to be done at least 24 hours before the treatment. For online bookings please ensure that if it is your first treatment with us, that you book a client consultation and a test patch. There is no charge for a consultation and test patch and this must be done for every client as a requirement of the Academy. No exceptions.
BRAZILIAN AND BIKINI LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENTS – SHAVING BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT – All clients are required to shave the area to be treated before-hand, failure to do so may result in a $15 shaving fee. If the area is not shaved, you may be asked to return at another time.
CANCELLATION NOTICE
We kindly ask for 24 hours notice if you intend to cancel your appointment. A 50% deposit or credit card number is required for all appointments at time of booking. Failure to provide us with timely notification or missed appointments will result in your deposit not being refunded.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
To prepare for your visit and to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere we recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Unfortunately late arrival will mean reduced treatment time.
GIFT VOUCHERS
A perfect gift for that special someone. Vouchers can be redeemed for services in the day spa or products in the gift shop. You can also order these online. Please quote your voucher number when booking. All bookings must have a voucher purchased online. One voucher per person only. Multiple vouchers may be purchased for friends and family. Not redeemable for cash. Not available with any other offer or membership. Gift Vouchers can not be used to purchase any other product or treatments. Not refundable. Available at any Australian Academy Spa.

All bookings over must be pre-paid in the form of a voucher or over the phone with a credit card to secure the booking. Bookings are essential and subject to availability. No Refunds.

All products purchased from the Academy are non-refundable.

This package is available in standard opening hours during the week and on Saturdays, subject to availability.

POINTS OF CARE FOR PREGNANCY
Our philosophy in the treatment of pregnant women is to ensure our client feels comfortable, safe and maintains modesty throughout the treatment. We therefore avoid heavy massage pressure, especially on the lower back. A nurturing touch is more important than deeply therapeutic bodywork during this time.
During pregnancy, the body needs no further heat or stimulating, there is enough happening already! The sense of aroma is already heightened so we will not use pure essential oils in our massage.
Simple guidelines for pregnancy are as follows:
Avoid use of the pure essential oil blends in the hand or foot bath.
Avoid use of heat, hot water or steam treatments throughout pregnancy.
Avoid use of oil and salt exfoliation. Use no muds in the first three months of pregnancy.
